Literally all there is to it
Our cream is made without preservatives, parabens, or silicones, which means it’s a perishable product that needs to be stored in the fridge. This approach not only ensures that you’re getting the freshest, most effective formula, but it also minimizes our environmental footprint.
So when we say these are our ingredients below, we mean it: nothing more, nothing less.
Instead, we focus our efforts on perfecting the recipe: working with high quality products, carefully blending each ingredient to preserve the integrity of its delicate, natural properties.

Rose Water
The Moisture Rebuilder
Acqua de Rosa is not just a fragrant addition to our cream but a powerhouse ingredient for skin healing and moisture restoration. Rose water has the unique ability to rebalance the skin’s moisture barrier, helping to hydrate and soften the skin. It is also an excellent antiseptic and antibacterial, promoting faster skin healing and reducing the appearance of redness, irritation, or inflammation.
In addition, rose water helps boost collagen production, which is essential for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This makes it a key ingredient for promoting younger-looking, more radiant skin, especially as you age.

Organic Olive Oil
Conquer Free Radicals
Olive oil has long been hailed as a skincare powerhouse, and for good reason. Rich in antioxidants like vitamin E and polyphenols, olive oil helps neutralize free radicals: unstable molecules that contribute to skin aging.
These antioxidants work synergistically to protect the skin from environmental stressors, such as pollution and UV radiation.
Moreover, olive oil contains linoleic acid, a fatty acid known to retain moisture and soften the skin. While many companies use olive oil as a primary base, we’ve opted to use it sparingly in our cream.
This is because, while olive oil is incredibly nourishing, it can clog pores in certain skin types, especially for those with acne-prone or oily skin. By balancing the amount used, we ensure its benefits without compromising skin health.

Sweet Almond Oil
Purifying and Nourishing
Cold-pressed from almonds grown on our family farm in Spain, sweet almond oil is a powerhouse of essential fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid (Vitamin F) and linoleic acid (Vitamin E). These acids are known to nourish, protect, and hydrate the skin, providing both immediate relief and long-term skin health.
Almond oil is renowned for its ability to purify the skin. It works as a natural antioxidant and antimicrobial, helping to protect the skin from free radical damage and preventing infections that can arise from environmental exposure. Historically, almond oil has been used in ancient herbal remedies for its nutraceutical properties, proving its value as both a skincare ingredient and a holistic treatment.
Its lightweight texture also contributes to the cream's smooth, silky consistency. The oil helps form the base, giving the cream its “mayonnaise-like” texture that’s rich yet easily absorbed into the skin.

Frankincense Oil
The Natural Alternative to Retinol
Frankincense oil is a remarkable ingredient that offers many of the benefits of retinol, without the irritation often associated with this powerful synthetic vitamin A derivative. Instead of using retinol, we’ve chosen to incorporate frankincense essential oil into our formula as a natural, gentler alternative.
Frankincense has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, helping to fight the signs of aging by promoting skin renewal and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also an excellent skin healer, promoting regeneration of skin cells and enhancing skin elasticity. Frankincense works to tighten and tone the skin, while also improving the texture and evenness of skin tone.
In addition to these benefits, frankincense has astringent properties that help minimize the appearance of pores, giving the skin a smoother, more refined look.

Shea Butter
Regeneration and Deep Moisturization
We use fairtrade Ugandan shea butter in our cream because of its exceptional healing properties. Shea butter contains a high concentration of oleic and linoleic acids, both of which are vital for maintaining the skin's natural barrier against harmful environmental factors, like UV rays and free radicals.
Shea butter excels at regenerating and soothing the skin, which is especially beneficial for dry, mature, or irritated skin. It has an impressive anti-inflammatory effect, making it ideal for soothing conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or sunburn. Shea butter is also loaded with antioxidants, which provide further protection against aging and oxidative damage.
The rich, emollient properties of shea butter help to restore moisture balance to the skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple. Its ability to deeply penetrate the skin helps to smooth and hydrate, while its anti-aging effects support skin elasticity and the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

Organic Cocoa Oil
Skin Barrier Reparation and Deep Tissue Hydration
Coconut oil is a unique ingredient that stands out in the skincare world for its ability to penetrate the skin more easily than other oils. Due to its small molecular structure, coconut oil is able to reach deeper layers of the skin, helping to transport other active ingredients into the skin where they can have maximum impact.
Coconut oil is rich in medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs), including lauric acid, which provides antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. It helps protect the skin from free radicals, supports the skin’s natural barrier, and keeps moisture locked in. In addition, coconut oil is packed with vitamins E and K, both of which contribute to skin health and repair.
It’s this penetrating ability that makes coconut oil an ideal base oil for our cream. Not only does it provide essential hydration, but it also ensures that other nourishing ingredients, like vitamins and essential oils, are effectively delivered to the skin.

Grapefruit
A Potent Vitamin C Powerhouse
Grapefruit is packed with vitamin C, a potent antioxidant that not only helps to protect the skin from the damaging effects of free radicals but also plays a critical role in collagen production. Collagen is essential for maintaining skin’s firmness and elasticity, and as we age, collagen production naturally decreases. Regular use of grapefruit-infused products can help boost collagen levels, leading to firmer, plumper skin.
Additionally, grapefruit oil helps combat the effects of UV radiation, which accelerates skin aging. This makes it an excellent choice for protecting the skin from premature aging caused by sun exposure. While it’s important to use proper sun protection, the presence of grapefruit oil in our cream provides an added layer of defense against environmental stressors.
-
Raspberry Oil
Locking in Hydration
Raspberry essential oil is a key ingredient for hydration and moisture retention. Rich in linoleic acid (Vitamin F), it creates a protective lipid barrier on the skin that helps lock in moisture and prevent dehydration. This is especially important for dry or mature skin, which tends to lose moisture more easily than other skin types.
Raspberry oil also has significant anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which help soothe irritated skin and protect it from free radical damage. Its emollient properties ensure that skin stays smooth, supple, and well-hydrated throughout the day.
-
Vetiver
Clarifying
Vetiver oil offers a unique blend of hydration and clarifying benefits. Its ability to keep the skin hydrated helps balance the drying effects of the grapefruit’s vitamin C, ensuring your skin remains nourished while benefiting from the antioxidant protection. Vetiver is also known for its antiseptic properties, making it an excellent addition to creams designed for blemish-prone skin. Its calming and balancing properties make it a great choice for sensitive or reactive skin types. Plus, vetiver’s distinct, light scent blends beautifully with the other ingredients, adding a layer of complexity to the cream’s fragrance.

Pores and Antibacterial
Lemongrass offers numerous benefits for skincare due to its natural antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It helps to cleanse the skin by removing excess oils and impurities, making it an excellent choice for those with oily or acne-prone skin. Its antimicrobial qualities help to reduce the risk of breakouts and infections, while its soothing effects calm irritated or inflamed skin. Lemongrass also has astringent properties, tightening and toning the skin for a smoother, more youthful appearance. Additionally, the high vitamin C content in lemongrass helps to brighten the complexion, fade dark spots, and promote collagen production, contributing to healthier, more radiant skin.
