Who are we?
faceføød was born over a decade ago on an organic farm in the heart of southern Spain, driven by a single, uncompromising vision: to craft a face cream that eliminates unnecessary additives, delivering trustworthy nourishment for your skin. Founded by Rosa Maria Dencker-Rasmussen, faceføød embodies her deep expertise in botanical science, honed through decades of regenerating her organic farm.
Of Danish descent, her skin had become highly sensitive after years of sun exposure, and most creams would trigger a reaction. Our creams were born from her own research into developing a formula free from additives that caused flare-ups, yet effective in healing her skin.
Some of our ingredients are still produced on this farm, such as our cold pressed olive oil! Today, we are a family-run, women-led enterprise with a shared passion: to provide you with freshly crafted, small-batch skincare that nurtures your skin with the care it deserves.
What is faceføød?
For decades, our face cream has been meticulously developed and refined, adhering to one principle: skincare should be as fresh as the food we eat. Your skin is your body’s largest organ, so why do we still insist on feeding it fast food?
Today’s skincare is laden with synthetic fillers, silicones, preservatives, artificial fragrances, and chemical enhancers that offer only fleeting results without true benefits.
At faceføød, we take skin health seriously. Our philosophy is simple: feed your skin the way you would nourish your body. We’ve stripped our recipe back to the essentials, focusing on sourcing the finest natural ingredients to deliver deep, long-term protection and nourishment.

How does it work?
What do we mean by sustainability?
Before faceføød, our journey began with decades of research into what sustainable farming truly means. In 2004, our family took on a farm that was completely out of sync with nature, a result of decades of exhaustive human overfarming and degenerative practices.
Over the past two decades, a significant portion of the farm has been rewilded, and this philosophy continues to guide us today. We believe that true sustainability requires a deep respect for balance: humans are not meant to have access to everything all the time, at any cost. On the farm, there are now areas completely off-limits to humans, allowing the animals and natural systems to reclaim what was once lost.
This same mindset shapes faceføød: the overwhelming number of unnecessary ingredients in most commercial skincare products, designed for mass production and instant availability, are a direct result of the desire to have things quickly and cheaply.
We want to break that cycle. As an organic farm, we prioritize sourcing organic and Fairtrade ingredients, investing a large portion of our research into finding the best products - not just for you, but also for those who grow and harvest them.
By handcrafting small batches of skincare for our dedicated clients, we reduce the excess, avoiding wasteful ingredients and processes that dominate the industry. In doing so, we create products that are not only good for your skin but also support the planet and the people who help nourish it.
